Mary's Latest

Mary sent these to me to post for you all to see before she mails them. The snowman wall hanging is for her daughter, Susan and the horse foot warmer quilt is for her granddaughter, Alexa. Lucky girls, don't you think?!?

I love this! I get to learn to do something new - and of course it's tied to quilting!!!

Hey Barb, I'm just checking to be sure this is the right way to go. I signed in and was given the choice of posting to the WQG or mine from this summer. Of course, i chose WQG, lets see if I got it right.

Posting Pictures

If you accept the invitation sent by Blogger and set up a Google account you will have access to add content or even change settings on the blog. If you want to post pictures you would then click on the New Post link in the upper right corner of the page. It will open a box that looks a lot like most email programs. To add a picture just click on the icon of a photo on the toolbar and another box will open. It asks you where the file is on your computer and then click on the upload button and it does the rest.
You might want to resize large file size pictures or it will slow down the blog for those with slower internet.
Give it a try! Even if you don't want to put up a picture...do a post! The same steps but when you get the email-like box just type in it like you would normally and hit publish post.

Love the blog. Wonderful job. I need your help to finish setting up mine and Rick's. This blog is great for our group.

First Post

Hey gals! This is in the early design stages. You might have gotten an email about the ability to post on the site. If you accept that would mean that you can upload content. If you just want to comment on a post (like this one) you can click on the comment link at the end of the post and log in anonymously then type your message...just make sure you put your name in the body of the message so we know who it's from. I will explain and demonstrate at the Dec. meeting if anyone is confused. Hope you like it so far!
